Introducing transfer window
The transfer window in football is a prescribed period where clubs can register new players, transfer existing players, or return on loan players. Traditionally, there are two such windows within a season: a summer window which is usually from June to August and a January window. FIFA decides these periods so that the clubs may strengthen or close their squads.
The transfer window is able to impact how teams approach problems, restructure their players and also how players will build themselves. This can be entirely to top up on weaknesses, improve their ability to win games, or even sell players to improve economic standing. Players, on the other hand, are able to transfer themselves and find better contracts or positions where they will be able to showcase their skills more.
To fans, the transfer window is perhaps most ruthless of all the aspects as new players, possible trades and a plethora of rumors which may turn the season upside down all happen during this time period. The timeline ranges a bit from league to league, however once the transfer period is closed, no more players would be registered until the said time period is opened again.
